The shape
Ascentra rises from a round base into a square, folded shade. The green version shown makes those folds easy to see, even before the lamp is lit.
Size
LUMMAR lists Ascentra at 22 cm high and 22 × 22 cm across. Listed weight is 508 g, including the light module.
Light and charging
A rechargeable 3,000 mAh light module charges over USB-C. Touch controls adjust the light, with three color temperatures available.
How it is made
LUMMAR designs and makes its lamps in Romania. Parts are 3D printed, then assembled and tested by hand. The shade, base and light module screw together and can be replaced separately.
